Poptent Exceeds $5 Million Cash Payments for Video Assignments

poptentPoptent, a global video production company for Fortune 500 companies, has announced its goal to raise $5.5 million and is celebrating its growing success. MK Capital, a digital media and technology venture capital firm will lead the capital raising initiative. Poptent’s popularity is growing as its social network of videographers has reached over 50,000 members in more than 140 countries. Additionally, Poptent has exceeded $5 million in cash payments for video assignments.

According to Poptent CEO Andy Jedynak, the proceeds from its latest round of funding will support the company’s continued strategic expansion through product development, expanded services and accelerated global expansion of its offerings with the recently launched Poptent Productions business unit. Jedynak shares his vision for the company:

A noted agency working with brands like Dell, Intel, Eucerin, Jaguar and Walgreens, as well as major advertising, marketing and communications agencies, Poptent’s aims to provide new levels of scale and utility for its clients with its new funding and growing team.
