Sitrick sells NY Central Park Apartment

According to The Real Deal, Daniel and Bonnie Tisch (Daniel is the late Loews Corporation owner’s grandson) purchased 980 Fifth Avenue, which overlooks Central Park for $8.13 million.

The apartment was sold by Michael Sitrick of Sitrick and Company, a Los Angeles-based  PR firm, who  is best known for his work in crisis management.

 

Peppercomm  launches Cooper MINI Carbon Edition

The MINI Carbon Edition is touted as the fastest, loudest, and most powerful MINI Hardtop 4 Door. MINI is an independent brand but operates under the umbrella of BMW Group. This week a press release from Peppercomm stated the upcoming release of the new model, making seven models available in the U.S. through dealerships in 39 states.

According to the press release, “The Carbon Edition combines the already powerful MINI Cooper S Hardtop 4 Door model with the new John Cooper Works Pro Tuning Kit, valve exhaust system and high-grade carbon fiber accessories. The result is 208 horsepower and an ultra-aggressive exhaust note with Sport and Track Mode*.”

Levick Washington DC office hosts Islanders for Discussion of Current Political issues.

Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Timothy Harris, spoke with members of the diplomatic corps, including Dominica Ambassador H. John Charles, wealth management professionals, and Caribbean business leaders. They also met with former White House counsel and Executive VP at Levick, Lanny Davis, U.K. citizenship solutions firm global managing director Micha Emmet, and Sweden’s Ambassador, Thomas Siebert. All of the meeting and discussion was focused on issues such as a recent island decision to ban Syrians from its citizenship by investment program. Report of the meeting came from politico.com.

APCO Worldwide moving Washington DC office

Renovations in the Warner Building located at 1299 Pennsylvania Ave. NW are scheduled for the second and third-floor office space. APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs, and communications firm is leasing more than 56,000 square feet. There is no word yet on when they will be moving from their current DC location at 700 12th St. NW.

Beckerman Sponsors and Attends NAIOP event.

It’s no secret Michael Beckerman has a lasting interest in real estate. Though he is still the founding partner of his PR firm, he spends most of his time on a new venture called The News Funnel, a free website that’s all about real estate. Beckerman recently attended and was one of the sponsors of the NAIOP New Jersey Gala 29, celebrating commercial real estate (in New Jersey) at its finest.

In just a short time, The News Funnel has become a leading news real estate industry search engine.
