Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) has recently hired Catherine Keill as senior account director of its Edmonton, Alta., office. Prior to this employment, Keill worked as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Mayor's Office in Edmonton, and owned Keill Consulting, her agency with focus on strategic communications, event management, communications planning, stakeholder relations support, government relations advice, and political campaign management.
She brings an extensive expertise in policy analysis, government relations and corporate communications through her work during the past 15 years with the Government of Canada, the Government of Alberta, the City of Edmonton, and in the non-profit, corporate and political sectors.
“As the most recent deputy chief of staff to the mayor of Edmonton and as a former advisor to the federal regional minister in northern Alberta, Catherine is poised to handle our clients’ issues with insight and a solid understanding of the procedures and players,” says Lisa Walker, vice president and general manager of H+K’s two Alberta offices.Keill is currently completing her master of arts degree in communications and technology at University of Alberta.
