Kellogg’s explains massive cereal recall

A couple of days after the massive recall of 28 million cereal boxes, Kellogg's issued a press statement explaining the withdrawn products did not meet quality standards, but did not contain health threatening substances. While some consumers did experience nausea, vomiting and other such symptoms, they were caused by the off taste and smell of the cerials, not by potentially harmful components in the product or its packaging.
