Account Executive

An account executive is an entry-level to mid-level agency professional who handles day-to-day client work such as pitching, drafting, list building and reporting.

A typical agency ladder runs from assistant account executive to account executive, senior account executive, account supervisor, vice president, senior vice president and managing director or partner. Account executives handle pitching, list building, drafting and reporting.
