With the release of the trailer of the next season of the all-time Sunday afternoon staple Keeping Up With the Kardashians, there is no denying that the Kardashian-Jenner continue to grab the world’s attention. As we countdown to the masterpiece the next season is sure to be, let’s recap the top four public relations hits of last year.

Kendall’s Controversial Comments

Kendall got herself in all kinds of trouble in August, when Love magazine published a quote from its interview with the supermodel on Instagram: "Since the beginning we've been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f*ck those girls do. More power to 'em."

Kendall’s peers in the model world were not impressed with her haughty comments, furious that Kendall couldn’t seem to check her privilege for being able to choose her jobs to begin with while other models were having to work their way to the top.

In the wake of the backlash, Kendall responded on Twitter, leaning on the age-old “out of context” excuse. “It was intended to be entirely complimentary but unfortunately, my words were twisted & taken out of context. I want to be clear. The respect that I have for my peers is immeasurable!"

Kourtney and Younes Split

Until this year, Kourtney and Younes were the hottest couple on the block. After two years of romantic getaways and bonding with the Kardashian clan, the couple split amid, typically, a host of online drama. Kourtney had posted a mildly raunchy photo to Instagram that summer, prompting Younes to angrily comment, “"that's what you need to show to get likes?" Their breakup was confirmed shortly thereafter.

Kylie’s Forbes Cover

Last summer, Forbes unveiled its cover star as the “youngest self-made billionaire”, Kylie Jenner. It wasn’t her net worth that was the issue, however- Kylie Cosmetics is valued at $800 million- rather, it was the fact that the youngest Jenner had been labelled “self-made”.

Fans and haters alike took to social media to protest that the young businesswoman wasn’t actually self-made, given she had the backing of her family’s fame and fortune to get a jumpstart on her foray into entrepreneurship.

Kylie’s Secret Pregnancy

In the words of Kim Kardashian, Kylie’s pregnancy was the “best kept secret of our generation.” Indeed, no one could confirm that Kylie was destined for parenthood until she herself announced the birth of her daughter Stormi on February 4th.

Amid rampant speculation of her supposed pregnancy, Kylie finally set the record straight with an Instagram post and video documenting her pregnancy journey. She even apologised to fans for keeping them in the dark, declaring her commitment to preparing for parenthood “in the most...healthy way [she] knew how.”

Love them or hate them, you’re still thinking about them. That’s a public relations win in our books.

Why the Best Digital Marketing in 2026 Feels Human Again

For the better part of the last decade, digital marketing has been defined by one word: efficiency. Marketers optimized everything. Audiences were segmented into increasingly granular cohorts. Creative was tested, iterated, and refined at scale. Entire strategies were built around performance dashboards—click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition. It was a golden age of precision. And yet, something got lost along the way. Scroll through any social platform today and you’ll encounter a paradox: marketing has never been more targeted, yet it has never felt more invisible. Ads are technically excellent, but emotionally vacant. Campaigns perform, but they rarely linger. Brands reach people, but they struggle to move them. This is the defining tension of digital marketing in 2026.

The SAFE Banking Communications Playbook (Updated Q2 2026)

SAFE Banking has been "almost passing" for seven years. The communications stakes just got higher. Schedule III rescheduling raised institutional investor interest. The operators that build the right banking narrative now win citation share — whether SAFER passes or doesn't.

280E Repeal Communications: What MSOs Should Be Saying Right Now

280E has crushed cannabis P&Ls for fifteen years. The April 23 Schedule III order ended it — for some operators. The MSOs that communicate the partial repeal with discipline win the post-rescheduling citation graph. The rest don't.
