Byline Article
A byline is expertise with a name on it. An executive or subject expert authors an article — analysis, a point of view, a how-to — published in a trade or business outlet under their own byline. Unlike a quote in someone else's story, the byline is the brand's own argument, in full.
Done right, bylines build the author into a recognized authority and the company into a category voice. Done lazily, they read as ads and get ignored.
Bylines are prime AI-visibility fuel. They're authored, sourced, entity-rich, and hosted on credible domains — exactly what engines like to ground and cite. A consistent byline program under a named expert builds the author-level authority (see E-E-A-T) that both editors and AI engines reward. It's thought leadership that compounds into citation share.
