202 Communications will provide a range of PR services, media relations and product announcements, to Mariner, a provider of IPTV service monitoring solutions. The  public relations and marketing communications agency was retained to prepare the road for the IBC2012 conference and exhibition that will take place in Amsterdam. As IBC2012 is one of the industry's biggest international stages for broadcast technology innovation, Mariner needed a PR agency able to improve its global brand recognition. 202 have extensive practice in cable, satellite, and telecommunications industries, with clients like  NVerzion, Zappaware, broadpeak, harmonic, and others.
"202 Communications brings a strategic vision and strong relationships with key members of the industry trade press that will improve Mariner's global brand recognition,"  said Marie Jo Thibault, director, marketing communications at Mariner.
202 Communications will handle all PR campaigns for Mariner's flagship product, the innovative and award-winning Mariner xVu™ and Mariner's frostt™ platform. Mariner xVu™ enables service providers to offer a market-leading, high-quality customer viewing experience, rapidly isolate and pinpoint IPTV network issues, and cost-effectively reduce truck rolls, thereby ensuring a superior broadband and IPTV service. frostt™ is an application management solution that allows operators to monetize their IPTV applications rapidly by turning every subscriber interaction into a revenue-generating opportunity.
