WebiMax — Integrated Digital Agency

Reputation Management Firm Profile • Everything-PR

The Firm

WebiMax is a full-service digital marketing firm with reputation management as one of its longest-running practice lines. Founded in 2008 by Ken Wisnefski. Headquartered in southern New Jersey — currently 10000 Lincoln Drive East, Marlton, NJ. The firm sits at the intersection of SEO, paid search, public relations, web design, and online reputation management — not a pure-play ORM shop but a digital agency where ORM is a flagship service alongside SEO and PPC. WebiMax now operates as a Vertoz company.

About 5W AI Communications

5W is the AI Communications Firm, building brand authority across the platforms where decisions now happen — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews — alongside earned media, digital, and influencer channels. 5W combines public relations, digital marketing, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and proprietary AI visibility research to help clients measure and grow their presence in AI-driven buyer research. Founded in 2003, 5W is recognized as a Top U.S. PR Agency by O’Dwyer’s, named Agency of the Year in the American Business Awards®, honored as a 2026 Top Place to Work in Communications by Ragan, and named to Digiday’s WorkLife Employer of the Year list. 5W serves clients across B2C sectors — Beauty & Fashion, Consumer Brands, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Health & Wellness, Travel & Hospitality, Technology, and Nonprofit — and B2B specialties including Corporate Communications, Reputation Management, Public Affairs, Crisis Communications, and Digital Marketing across Social, Influencer, Paid Media, GEO, and SEO. The History

Wisnefski founded WebiMax in 2008 after building and exiting VendorSeek.com, a B2B lead generation marketplace where he served as CEO and founder. He launched WebiMax on the thesis that mid-market and SMB clients needed a strategic-partner digital agency, not a vendor-style outsourced shop. The firm scaled through the 2009–2015 SEO boom, expanded into ORM, PPC, social media, and lead generation, and by 2018 had been named the #1 SEO Firm by International Business Times.

Wisnefski has been a recurring presence in national business media — MSNBC's Your Business with JJ Ramberg, the Philadelphia Business Journal's Most Admired CEOs 2018, and a long tail of trade-press commentary on SEO and reputation. He hosts The Web Masters, a marketing TV show built around case studies of businesses and public figures rebuilding online presence.

In recent years WebiMax was acquired by Vertoz, an adtech and digital marketing holding company — a structural shift the firm now markets under the "WebiMax a Vertoz company" branding. The firm celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2023.

What They Actually Do

WebiMax's ORM service line covers the standard managed-services suite: negative content removal where legally feasible; content suppression through positive content publishing and SEO; review monitoring and review-acquisition campaigns; executive personal reputation; crisis response. Sitting alongside ORM in the same firm: full-service SEO, PPC, web design, social media, lead generation, and digital PR — letting WebiMax run integrated engagements rather than ORM-only contracts.

The firm's public case studies via The Web Masters series include reputation work for clients including former reality-TV figure Jon "Jonny Fairplay" Dalton (post-litigation press correction) and Robert Burck, the "Naked Cowboy" (negative-publicity recovery), as well as digital marketing engagements with Giada De Laurentiis. These are publicly disclosed and on-camera — unusual transparency for ORM work.

The Competitive Position

WebiMax does not compete with enterprise SaaS platforms like Reputation.com or with Fortune 500-tier consultancies like Terakeet. Its competitive set is the mid-market managed-services tier: NetReputation, BrandYourself's managed service, and a long tail of regional digital agencies that offer ORM as part of a broader service mix. WebiMax's structural advantage is the integrated agency model — a single firm running SEO, PPC, social, web design, and ORM — rather than the pure-play specialist posture of competitors.

Notable Cases

WebiMax has not been the subject of major adversarial press coverage. Its public profile is built through trade press, Wisnefski's media appearances, and the firm's own broadcast content. The publicly documented reputation cases via The Web Masters are the firm's most visible client work.

The 2026 Posture

WebiMax's 2026 positioning emphasizes the integrated agency model and its track record across SEO and ORM. The firm has not publicly defined an AI Citation Share offering, a GEO retainer, or a generative-engine-visibility product line. Its center of gravity remains in Google-era search work — the surface that still drives commercial traffic for most SMB clients, but that is increasingly supplemented by AI-engine answer surfaces.

Pricing

Pricing not publicly disclosed in headline form. WebiMax sells custom managed-services contracts; engagements scale with content volume, removal complexity, and the breadth of digital marketing services bundled alongside ORM.

How 5W AI Communications Compares

5W AI Communications operates in adjacent territory to WebiMax. 5W combines public relations, digital marketing, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI-visibility research — the discipline of AI Communications — to grow client Citation Share inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Where legacy reputation work measures and manages what customers say about a brand on review sites and search results, 5W's work shapes what the AI engines themselves say when a buyer asks the question. Inside a modern enterprise communications stack, the two functions are complementary — but the center of gravity has moved. More than a third of consumers now begin product research with AI, not Google. The firm that owns the answer inside the chatbox owns the category.
