The Municipality of Meaford, Ontario seeks intends to launch a brand campaign late summer or early fall 2017. This will include both the creation of print, video and digital content.
The Creative Concept was developed through a sub working group of the Economic Development Advisory Committee. This concept was anchored in beautiful visuals and personal, genuine responses about the experiences of visiting and living in the Municipality of Meaford and enjoying all that it has to offer. The campaign will engage audiences with rich visuals that are so pervasive throughout the Municipality and then connects emotionally through the personal responses and testimonies of people who have discovered the beauty and heart of Meaford either as a resident or visitor. On camera talent will be selected by the Municipality of Meaford to align with our target audiences: couples who have chosen Meaford to raise a family and boomers who have chosen Meaford as a perfect place to retire.
Scope of Work:
Based on the Municipality’s creative concept, the successful Proponent will be responsible for, with input from Municipal staff, creation of, print, video and digital content, including the following:
- Task 1: Background Information
- Task 2: Creation of video for online application
- Task 3: Creation of Digital Ads for Online Application
- Task 4: Creation of various print ads and key art
- Task 5: Creation of landing page or micro-site
TERMS OF REFERENCE
The major tasks to be addressed by the Proponent interested in this project are outlined below. This list should be augmented as required and believed necessary based on the Proponent’s experience and knowledge.
Task 1: Background Information
A summary of the activities to be undertaken in this task is as follows:
- Meet with Municipal staff and others to identify available background information;
- Obtain b-roll footage previously obtained by the Municipality of Meaford
Task 2: Creation of video for online application
A summary of the activities to be undertaken in this task is as follows:
- Creation of script for videos to be identified below;
- Coordinate with the Municipality’s Economic Development Officer for the casting for the videos to be identified below;
- Shoot and produce video assets for videos to be identified below;
- Edit and enhance video assets for videos to be identified below, with audio, music, and graphics;
- Provide “draft” version of videos to be identified below, in MP4 format, to the Municipality’s Economic Development Officer to approve prior to providing final version.
Task 3: Creation of Digital Ads for Online Application
A summary of the activities to be undertaken in this task is as follows:
- Creation of banner ad(s) including photographic and graphic content in jpeg and eps format;
- Creation of big box ad(s) including photographic and graphic content in jpeg and eps format; and
- Provide “draft” version of digital ads to the Municipality’s Economic Development Officer to approve prior to providing final version.
Task 4: Creation of various print ads and key art
A summary of the activities to be undertaken in this task is as follows:
- Creation of ¼ Page Print Ad, including key art, for Tabloid and Standard Sized publication;
- Creation of 1/3 Page Print Ad, including key art, for Tabloid and Standard Sized publication;
- Creation of ½ Page Print Ad, including key art, for Tabloid and Standard Sized publication;
- Creation of Full Page Print Ad, including key art, for Tabloid and Standard Sized publication;
- Provide “draft” version of digital ads to the Municipality’s Economic Development Officer to approve prior to providing final version.
Task 5: Creation of landing page or micro-site
A summary of the activities to be undertaken in this task is as follows:
- Creation of landing page or micro-site.
- Provide “draft” version of landing page or micro-site to the Municipality’s Economic Development Officer to approve prior to providing final version
