JConnelly PR was founded and is owned by Jennifer Connelly. She found her passion while still in college when she did an internship at FleishmanHillard, where her uncle was an executive.
After college, in 2003, when only in her mid-20s, she opened her own firm. Recently, as she is closer to 40 than 30, the company celebrated their 13th anniversary by changing their name from JCPR. They also rebranded with a new logo and intend to demonstrate their reasons for changing in showing how they’ve grown over the years.
According to Jennifer Connelly, “The world has changed dramatically since we opened our doors in 2003. We redesigned our brand, our identity, and our structure to reflect who we are now. Today, campaigns are about integrating new ideas, new technologies, and new ways of thinking about communications and marketing.
Everything we develop and execute is centered around business benefits and results, supported by traditional and new media, data analysis, and the diverse talents of our team.”
JConnelly PR is headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey, but also have offices on 5th Avenue in New York City.
