Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR) added three real estate clients in November 2013, deepening what was already one of the largest real estate practices among independent New York City PR firms. The three additions:
Ideal Properties Group — Brooklyn brokerage firm with a substantial inventory of New York residential listings.
HAP Investments — A New York City-based real estate investment group focused on development.
Rutherford Place — A residential collection along Second Avenue being converted into a condominium development.
The 2013 wins reinforced RPR's positioning as a real estate-led communications practice. Sector-deep agencies represent a different operating model from the holding-company global networks: RPR's real estate work has continued to anchor the firm in the years since, with the practice expanding across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Hamptons, and selective national markets.
Editor's Note (2026 Update)
Rubenstein Public Relations remains an active, independent New York City communications agency under President Richard Rubenstein. The real estate practice has continued to grow — RPR's February 2025 account additions include Chapter, a technology-driven home renovation company operating across NYC, the Hamptons, Miami, New Jersey, Westchester, and Connecticut. The firm has been recognized on Newsweek's inaugural America's Best PR Agencies list (2024, in partnership with Statista), Forbes' America's Best PR Agencies list (2021), and named Corporate America Today's Best PR & Communications Business of 2025 — United States.
