Analyst Relations Agencies: 2026 Directory for B2B Tech

An analyst relations agency is a services firm that a technology vendor hires to run or support its dealings with industry analysts at firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC. This directory lists ten agencies and consultancies that say they offer analyst relations, with where each is based, what it says it does, and any independent signal available. It is a directory, not a ranking.

Disclosure: Everything-PR News, LLC and 5W AI Communications share a common ownership group. Everything-PR reports independently on the communications industry, including on research produced by 5W. Editorial decisions are made by Everything-PR's editorial team. 5WPR is one of the ten agencies listed below and is described only from its own published material.

How was this directory compiled?

EPR compiled it from three sources: the member agency list of the Institute for Influencer and Industry Analyst Relations (IIAR), the IIAR's 2025 awards, and a review of agencies' own service pages. The IIAR is a professional body for analyst relations, and its annual awards are voted by industry analysts and AR professionals, according to the IIAR. No agency paid to be listed. Entries are in no order of quality, and an agency's absence does not mean it is not good. This is EPR's reading of public information, so check references before you hire.

If you are looking for the analyst firms themselves, see the Analyst Relations Firm Directory.

Which other agencies are IIAR members?

The IIAR's member agency list also names ARInsights, Holscher.one, Kea Analyst Relations, Magnolia AR, Marathe Analyst Relations, Metia, SageCircle, Spark 180, and St. Cross. EPR has not reviewed these agencies' services. See the IIAR's member agency page for the current list.

What do the 2025 IIAR agency awards say?

The IIAR named Spotlight AR its AR Agency of the Year for the Americas and Starsight Communications its AR Agency of the Year for EMEA for 2025. The IIAR says the winners were decided by two surveys: AR professionals from 11 countries and industry analysts from 59 firms across 31 countries. See the IIAR 2025 awards announcement and the Starsight announcement. An award is one signal, and it does not show fit for your category.

What does an analyst relations agency do?

An analyst relations agency plans and runs a vendor's analyst program. Typical work, as the agencies above describe it, includes mapping which analysts cover the vendor's market, preparing briefings and inquiries, supporting submissions for evaluations such as the Magic Quadrant or the Wave, and training spokespeople. Some agencies also audit how analysts currently perceive a vendor and run analyst events. For the underlying program, see the 2026 Analyst Relations Playbook.

How should a company choose an analyst relations agency?

A company should choose on category fit, relationships, and evidence, not on size or awards alone. EPR recommends asking these questions.

  1. Which analysts covering our category do you work with now, and how recently?
  2. Which evaluations, such as a Magic Quadrant or Wave, have you supported in a category like ours, and what was your role?
  3. Can we speak to two clients with a similar size and stage?
  4. What exactly is in scope, who does the work, and how is it priced?
  5. How do you report results, and what would you count as success in the first six months?
  6. Do you work with our competitors, and how do you handle that?
  7. How would you coordinate with our PR team and our product marketing team?

Be cautious about any agency that promises placement in an evaluation. Analyst firms decide inclusion and position themselves, and Gartner has said that being a client does not affect either.

How much does an analyst relations agency cost?

Few agencies publish fees. Of the ten in this directory, only Resonance shows a starting price on the page EPR reviewed, which is from 6,000 pounds a month, and that may have changed. EPR's own estimates for total analyst relations programs, which include agency retainers, are in How Much Does Analyst Relations Cost? Ask each agency for a written scope and quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an analyst relations agency?

An analyst relations agency is a services firm that a vendor hires to run or support its work with industry analysts, including briefings, inquiries, and preparation for evaluations. It is different from an analyst firm such as Gartner, which publishes the research.

Which analyst relations agencies won awards in 2025?

The IIAR named Spotlight AR its AR Agency of the Year for the Americas and Starsight Communications for EMEA in 2025, based on votes from analysts and AR professionals.

What is the IIAR?

The IIAR is the Institute for Influencer and Industry Analyst Relations, a professional body for analyst relations. It publishes a member agency list and runs annual awards.

Is this a ranking of the best agencies?

No. EPR lists the agencies in no order of quality, and has not tested their work. Use the directory to build a shortlist, then check references.

Does 5WPR offer analyst relations?

5WPR says it offers analyst relations as part of its technology programs, including AdTech and MarTech. Everything-PR and 5W AI Communications share common ownership, so treat that entry as self-described.

Should a startup hire an agency or an in-house person?

EPR's observation is that many early-stage vendors begin with one in-house person or an outside consultant. The right choice depends on budget and on how many analyst relationships the company can use. See the playbook for the trade-offs. The decision for a vendor is to shortlist three agencies from this directory, ask each the same seven questions, and compare written scopes before it signs.
