Butterfield, the former North Carolina Congressman who served seven terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, joined McGuireWoods Consulting as a Senior Advisor in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. Butterfield previously chaired the Congressional Black Caucus and held senior positions on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Katy Feinberg returned to McGuireWoods Consulting as Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications on the advocacy team in Raleigh.
