Project Overview:
The caregiver resource center (CRC) project has several key components which include building out a statewide landing page as part of a comprehensive resource center to help identify, assess, and educate caregivers across the state using a variety of tools and resources. This statewide website with co-branded materials will provide ease of use for caregivers regardless of their location in Michigan. The CRC has budgeted $700,000 to market this project across the state of Michigan utilizing a variety of media modalities to increase knowledge and ease of access to caregiver supports.
Vendor must have baseline understanding of who/what the Area Agencies on Aging do. Company Information:
The Area Agencies on Aging Association of MI is a non-profit association serving the sixteen Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) across the state, which serves all 83 counties.
AAA are experts on all aspects of aging, assisting older adults and caregivers with information and resources.
AAA’s provide care management services including five core services nutrition, caregiver resources, health & wellness programs, elder rights, and supportive services.
Project Objectives:
1. Build a strategy to engage stakeholders across the state regardless of age, gender, location
2. Develop an evaluation tool to acquire metrics for success on engagement
3. Use a variety of media modules to target mass population
4. Build in engagement-interaction
5. Update/develop printed materials 6. Host focus groups
Scope of Work:
To work in tandem with the website developer and 4AM project manager to build a strategy to increase visibility and awareness of caregiver supports within the Area Agencies on Aging and to build a foundational toolkit for Area Agencies on Aging to increase engagement with caregivers. Vendor must have experience with statewide demographics and design a campaign that will include a variety of ages, communities, and needs.
