Celebrity PR: Sharon Stone from Topless to Over the Top

2009-11-17 by Richard D. Pace

Sharon Stone attended the Elton John Aids Benefit the other day, looking a little worse for the wear. After posing for Paris Match topless earlier this year, the 51 year old star evidently decided to take a new direction for this event. The result was simply not very appealing. Stone, wearing perhaps the worst outfit this writer has seen her in, also appeared to have had makeup issues. Some the photos coming out of the event show stone looking haggard and with lipstick issues as well. Sharon has had an up and down career, and up and down love life,... Read More >

Playboy Sues Love Lawyer Corri Fetman Back

2009-11-11 by Richard D. Pace

Corri Fetman, the Chicago divorce lawyer who sued Playboy for an alleged sexual harassment, is now being sued in turn by the magazine. Fetman, noted for a racy billboard promoting divorce, appears to be fully qualified to stir up trouble if nothing else. This one has bad PR written all over it for both Playboy and Fetman Garland & Associates, the firm she is a partner in. In a staged appearance on Saturday Night Live, Madonna attacked Gaga in a Deep House Dish musical skit with Kenan Thompson and Andy Samberg. Some found it funny, but the whole deal reminded me of Diana Falzones's editorial on The Huffington Post - The Lost Art of Being a Lady. Madonna, who is already known for her hot temper, delivered Gaga a beautifully wrapped PR gift when she "interrupted" her performance, starting to pull Gaga's wig and yelling "What the hell is a disco stick?" This girls gone wildperformance is what can be seen as the essence of today's pop... Read More >

There seems to be no end to terms to describe everything these days from Google trends to messages on Twitter. But Business Sexy? Anchor lady Liz Claman uses this term to describe was has become accepted as her ability to "look the part" daily on Fox's afternoon news programming. When asked about her inate ability to look good in front of the camera, Claman was forthcoming about her idea of being attractive without distracting the viewers from the news. Claman began working for CNBC in 1998, and subsequently "made it" on the Fox business scene with a successful interview with... Read More >
