Paluska will report to Alan VanderMolen, vice chairman, DJE Holdings and president & CEO, Global Practices. Edelman announced yesterday a new executive vice president and general manager of their Austin, Texas offices. Veteran Edelman exec Jackie Hopkins will head up a tram of some 20 PR professionals. Former McKinsey partner Michael Stewart has recently joined Edelman Europe as chief executive officer. Beginning late July, McKinsey will oversee Edelman’s European and CIS region, which consists of 17 offices, representing $130 million in revenues. He will report to to Matthew J. In a move essential to Edelman's pan-Asia growth strategy, the company added oversight of Africa and the Middle East to the responsibilities of David Brain, currently president and CEO of APAC. Edelman PR's second annual 8095 study reveals key findings concerning the connection between Millennials' consumer behavior and purchase decisions, the recession and brand engagement. The study comprised interviews with 4,000 millennials in 11 countries. Millenials are also known as Trophy Kids, MTV Generation or 8095ers and range between 18 and 33 years of age. Edelman has joined the #GivingTuesday initiative as part of their global citizenship program. The company also announced the results of a broader such initiative launched earlier this year, the 603 global citizenship initiative to support hunger and poverty alleviation as a way of celebrating its 60th anniversary.
