MEDFORD SCHOOL DISTRICT MEDIA SALES FOR HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS IN THE MEDFORD SCHOOL DISTRICT

I. GENERAL INFORMATION:
Medford School District 549C (District) is requesting written proposals from companies with a track record of success in generating revenue for high school athletic programs through media sales and support services. Through the production of game programs/media guides, rosters, banners, athletic website advertising or other means, the company will secure business partnerships through sponsorship and advertising packages. Revenue generated from advertisements will be used to support Medford School District athletic programs at North Medford and South Medford High School. The selected proposer will have exclusive media rights for the designated athletic programs in the Medford School District, for the term of the agreement.
IV. REQUIREMENTS:
Proposers must adhere to the following requirements:
The vendor shall design, produce and deliver media assets to school through the following media inventory:
1) Media Guides (to include digital guides) – For fall, winter and spring Sports Programs – Media guides shall have a professional appearance and be of high quality.
*Spring Sports Media Guide to begin spring, 2024, and the spring seasons thereafter during the length of the contract.
Media guides to be distributed at home events of School’s choosing. QR Code with linked digital guide available at all ticketed events and on roster sheets.
*Fall Sports Media Guide to begin fall, 2024, and all fall seasons thereafter during the length of the contract. All Sports to be included in program. Media guides to be distributed at home events of School’s choosing. QR Code with linked digital guide available at all ticketed events and on roster sheets.
*Winter Sports Media Guide by start of 2024/2025 season and winter seasons thereafter during the length of the
contract. All Sports to be included in program. Media guides to be distributed at home events of School’s choosing.

2) Facility Signage (at each respective School Facility):
Signage location and mockup to be approved by District, but potential locations may include:
High Schools:
Practice Fields; Gymnasiums; Baseball Fields; Softball Fields; Tennis Courts Spiegelberg Stadium
3) The District will consider additional advertising means. Please include additional suggestions in your proposal.
NOTE: Special attention will be focused on equity in advertising between male and female sports programs. The
level and quality of advertising shall be consistent between teams.
1. No advertisement will violate any copyright, trademark, trade name, service mark or other right of any person or entity; and Advertiser shall indemnify District from any loss, cost or expenses arising from the breach of this representation or warranty.
2. All advertising shall be in good taste and shall not contain any language, words, slogans, designs, or other material which, in the judgment of the school district administration, is inappropriate for a public school facility.
3. The location and content of all such advertising banners and signage shall be approved by the District.
4. Business sponsors shall be consistent with the mission, goals and policies of the district. Signs shall be in good taste and shall not contain any language, words, slogans, designs, or other material which, in the judgment of the school district administration, is inappropriate for a public-school facility. Otherwise, the proposal will be rejected.
