Scope: The Scope of Services, as may be modified through negotiation and/or by written addendum, would be made a part of the future Agreement. Please provide brief itemized answers that correspond to each numbered section that clearly describe how your firm would approach the task. The selected Consultant would be responsible for providing the following services to the City:
The City Manager, along with the executive management team, are primarily responsible for the efficient administration of all departments of the City government, enforcement oversight of all relevant state and federal laws and municipal ordinances, the preparation and management of the annual fiscal year budget, as well as managing the City’s economic redevelopment activities. The City seeks qualified firms and practitioners to provide the following services, as needed, and in coordination with the appropriate staff.
1. Scope of Services:
A. Digital & Print Marketing Campaigns
a. Website Design & Content Development: Design or enhance a dedicated Economic Development section of the City’s website, with relevant information for potential businesses such as resources, incentives, available spaces, and success stories.
b. Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to engage with potential business investors and entrepreneurs, utilizing platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook.
c. Print Materials: Design brochures, flyers, maps, and informational packets for distribution at trade shows, conferences, or meetings with prospective businesses.
d. Email Campaigns: Develop email marketing campaigns to reach targeted business prospects and keep them engaged with city updates, incentives, and opportunities.
B. Business Attraction Programs
a. Site Selection Assistance: Provide marketing materials that highlight available commercial real estate properties, business parks, and other sites for potential new businesses.
C. Strategic Consulting
a. Advisory Role: Offer ongoing strategic advice to the Economic Development Division on how to best position the City as a business-friendly city.
b. Economic Development Tools: Offer tools that the City may use to continue the required economic development marketing.
D. Budget & Timeline Management
a. Cost Management: Provide a detailed breakdown of costs associated with each marketing activity and ensure that campaigns are executed within the agreed-upon budget.
b. Timeline Development: Create a timeline for all deliverables, milestones, and activities.
