Scope:
The vendor will be responsible for delivering a mass communication platform – to include website, notifications, app, and two-way messaging – that meets the following requirements:
1. User-Friendliness
* Intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface
* Simple content management system for non-technical users
* Responsive design for use on various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
* Syncs with Infinite Campus so that notifications and messages are sent to the most up-to-date students/families in our system
2. Accessibility
* Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web ContentAccessibility Guidelines (WAG) 2.1 Level AA
* Ability to integrate third-party ADA scanning tool
* Automated translation features for email notification, messaging, app, and website content
3. Vendor Qualifications
To be considered for this project, vendors must meet the following qualifications:
* Proven experience in providing mass communication platforms for school systems
* Demonstrated expertise in ADA compliance and web accessibility
* Experience with multilingual communication tools and translation services
* Strong customer support and training services
Positive references from school system clients of comparable size to BCSS
