British Columbia Issues Social Media RFP
The Government Finance Officers Association of British Columbia (the “GFOABC”) has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for a social/digital firm to redo the organization’s existing website – www.gfoabc.ca website – with a comprehensive online presence. The goal is to provide a seamless and high quality user experience, consistent branding, effective and easy to use content management and integrated online engagement with the membership and the public.
The overall goal of the Project is to create a website for GFOABC that will serve all users – those who want to get information about organization and services, sign up for events, renew association membership, discover industry information, join online communities or look for employment.
Established in 1989, the Government Finance Officers Association of British Columbia (GFOABC) is a not-for-profit organization that represents local government finance officers in BC. The membership is comprised of members representing 160 municipalities and 28 regional districts throughout the Province. The organization’s vision is to be the leading association for local government financial management in Canada.
The primary target audiences are:
- Government Finance Officers, primarily within the Province of British Columbia
- Other local government professionals such as Chief Administrative Officers;
- Active sponsors, exhibitors and partners such as MFA, MIA and LGMA;
- Practicing professional accountants, notably those interested in local government financial activities;
- The general public.
Proposals are due by January 15, 2016 and proposals should be submitted to execdir@gfoabc.ca.
