Action Canada for Sexual Health & Rights Issues Website Redesign RFP

The purpose of this RFP is a redesign of the Action Canada website While the website has served to introduce Action Canada to the general public since its creation in 2014, it does not clearly demonstrate the work that we do and is difficult to navigate. As we grow, we also have more needs that the current website does not meet, including the integration of campaign branded pages currently hosted on different domains. The Action Canada communications team has done a content audit and consultation across the organization, the results of which have been reflected in this RFP. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications team to ensure the needs of all stakeholders are met and documentation from the audit and consultation will be provided.


Action Canada is the 2014 merger of three of Canada’s leading sexual and reproductive health and rights organizations that date back to 1964. We are the Canadian member of Planned Parenthood and movement building is at the core of everything we do. From partnerships with health care providers and activists on the ground to engaging decision-makers in Canada and around the world, we work in Canada and globally to promote health, wellbeing, and rights related to sexuality and reproduction. Specifically, we provide direct support, referrals, and information; work with other groups and organizations on a range of campaigns using a collaborative, movement-building approach; and advocate for policies related to sexual and reproductive rights, including abortion rights, gender, LGBTQ rights, and access to comprehensive sexuality education.
