Introduction:
The City of Garland is seeking a qualified firm with experienced principal staff to bring awareness of
Garland to event, tournament and meeting planners resulting in increased hotel bookings by the
Convention and Visitors Bureau. Provide competitive campaign advantages for Garland that will drive
business to the city. Produce cohesive collateral that conveys “Garland is the place to be” message.
Scope of Work:
Firm provide on-going public relations and advertising services beginning October 1, 2022 and run
through September 30, 2023.
Including but not limited to:
• Creation of 12 advertising and marketing campaigns targeting Garland specific markets
o Sports
o Shopping
o Foodie
o Recreational activities
o Meetings
o Conferences
o Visitors
• Messaging will incorporate the following:
o Print ads
o Digital ads
o Website
• Duties include:
o Content creation
o Ad design
o Still photography as needed

A Request for Proposal (RFP) should be submitted electronically through Ion Wave using the
following link https://garlandtx.ionwave.net. Acknowledgment to the City of Garland’s standard terms
and conditions and completion of related forms such as but not limited to the Bidder’s Qualification,
References and Conflict of Interest (CIQ) will be done electronically via Ion Wave at
