The goal of this project is to develop and implement a social media and print campaign that is relevant to pediatrics to increase the awareness of Project Firstline and other infection control practices and resources.

The purpose of this RFP is to identify an experienced healthcare communications and marketing consultant that can assist the AAP National office in developing messaging strategies that will have impact on Bpediatricians and other staff members in a pediatric healthcare setting. The content of the messages will be 2020‐01 determined through AAP staff and other clinical subject matter experts will be engaged in clinical/technical development. Ultimately, the toolkit will assist the chapters completing one of three goals: (1) to increase awareness of Project Firstline among all healthcare workers (2) Identify and support under-resourced communities through IPC activities, education, and awareness and (3) Provide education and training on IPC.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS OR SCOPE OF WORK

  • Attend kick-off call with AAP staff.
  • Schedule regular check-ins
  • Develop Social Media Toolkit – Digital assets AAP chapters can use to post on their own social

media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Messaging can include but not limited to: Project Firstline awareness, educational messages, and event and product promotion.

  • Develop Print Media Toolkit – Print assets AAP chapters can use such as: 4 customizable posters,   handouts/infographics/fact sheets, 10 images, and other templates.
  • All design packaged files to be included in final deliverables.
  • All assets will be used for outreach to pediatric healthcare settings and must be in accordance with AAP and Project Firstline style guidelines.

SCHEDULE OF DELIVERABLES

  • End of May/June 2023 (date TBD): Attend kick-off call with AAP staff.
  • Monthly: Provide progress reports via email to AAP project manager
  • July 2023:
  • Provide drafts of social media assets in accordance with AAP style guide to the team
  • Provide drafts of print assets in accordance with AAP style guide to the team
  • August 2023: AAP staff to provide feedback on all assets.
  • September 2023: Provide final products and dissemination strategies.
