The Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission is seeking a PR & advertising agency to efficiently inspire and educate Arkansas’ citizens to accept greater individual responsibility for improving and sustaining their community environment. The Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission consists of nine members appointed by the Governor and a three person staff. It is a division of the Arkansas Dept. of Parks and Tourism and serves as the State Affiliate for Keep America Beautiful, Inc., the nation’s largest community improvement organization, overseeing its programs and local Affiliates.
They seek an in-state agency – whom they will pay $350,000 per year to develop creative concepts; prepare and produce an integrated advertising and public relations program; research, advise, contract and verify media performance to reach desired target market audiences; evaluate and report on educational and promotional results and work with the Commission staff to provide materials and support for assigned Keep Arkansas Beautiful projects and programs.
www.KeepArkansasBeautiful.com has further details, and all applicants must apply on the site.
After evaluation of qualified proposals by the Commission, one or more providers may be selected to make oral presentations to the Commission during the January 9, 2016 meeting in Little Rock. The successful agency will be determined by Commission vote at this meeting. In January, staff and the successful agency will work to complete the contract budget and to specify work assignments to insure flawless communications program transition at the start of the contract period.
The Keep Arkansas Beautiful mission is to inspire and educate individuals to prevent litter, recycle and keep Arkansas beautiful. This is accomplished through successfully engaging individuals to take greater responsibility for their community environments.
