City of South El Monte, California Issues Marketing RFP

The City of South El Monte, California is an industrial community of approximately 21,000 residents and encompasses 2.3 square miles. This “Industrial Community” is located approximately 13 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and is adjacent to two major freeways and a major State Route in the San Gabriel Valley. South El Monte offers a good blend of older and younger residents working in the same dedication and community spirit that the city was founded upon. Both the residents and business community are working together to make the community a better place to live and work.

In just six decades the City of South El Monte has matured into a viable commercial and industrial base, with over 2,400 businesses within 2.3 square miles. The City is currently focusing on improving the infrastructure of the community making it a better place to live and work.

They have issued an RFP for an agency to prepare marketing/graphic design informational pamphlet to promote and market the City for ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) conference.

Services Preformed

The City of South El Monte is requesting proposals to prepare marketing/graphic design services to create a pamphlet to promote and market the City for ICSC (International Council of  Shopping Centers) conference. The marketing information must provide information on the demographic of the City, potential sites for future development, existing location available in the City and available vacant parcels for development. The information will assist in marketing the City for potential and future commercial businesses.  Staff will provide the information needed  to complete the marketing information on the City for the above-mentioned conference. A total of 20 copies of the completed pamphlet, 12 pages full color 4/4 on glassy stock (14 pt. to 16 pt.) Also, 50- 4g Flash Drives with City Logo (Information in the flash drive will be the PDF file of the pamphlet)
