Centralized Supply Chain Ontario (operating as Supply Ontario) invites proposals for Preferred Vendors of Public Relations and Communications Services to Ontario Government ministries and agencies on a Vendor of Record basis.

Candidates must offer expert capabilities in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, media relations and coaching, issues management, public consultations, social media, multi-channel content, and experiential activations.

Ideally, vendors should be:
• Known for their strong reputation and excellent public relations.
• Familiar with key domestic and / or international initiatives.
• Established within relevant networks and experienced in digital communications development, production, and metrics.
• Ambitious in the Earned Media arena and develop strong relationships to inspire positive Ontario coverage.
• On top of trends and best practices in public relations and content creation.
• Flexible, organized, client-oriented and a team player; and,
• Exceptional writers with superb communication skills.

Work falls into two categories: campaigns or projects. Services may be provided in-house or with affiliate resources or a formalized arrangement with other suppliers.
Only Preferred Vendors will be invited to compete for available projects.

Scope of Work
Account Management and Coordination
• Budget maintenance, estimates, reconcile final costs, payments processing.
Strategic Planning and Deliverables
• Audience research, insights, public relations, communication best practices.
• Develop integrated campaigns from design to execution and post-reporting.
Content and Social Media
• Data-driven approaches to public and media relations, integrating audience preferences and trends to impact success.

Business Development
• Leverage media relationships to include client opportunities and partnerships.
• Identify consumer and trade shows and promote Ontario at key events.

Media Relations
• Ongoing support of Ontario’s story and media opportunities.
• Organize and execute media events.
• Media coaching and training for leaders and professionals.

Content Creation and Distribution
• Develop content for Ministry / Agency events, projects, campaigns, and channels.
• Identify critical distribution channels (e.g., newswires, trade shows, media lists and networks, etc.).

Social Media
• Develop / deliver content on digital platforms. Share with social media influencers.
• Social listening – keep up with and participate in online conversations.

Project Management
• Provide a key contact to co-ordinate all activities scoped in Statements of Work.
• Apply best practices and technologies to ensure success.

Event and Experiential Marketing (‘Brand / Event Activation’)
• Plan and execute experiential marketing and brand experience events
