The City of Lauderhill Issues Advertising RFP
The objective of this RFP is to seek and retain a qualified advertising agency to develop the Lauderhill brand and promote the City of Lauderhill as a premier destination for the arts, culture, sports, leisure activities, culinary experiences, and shopping. The result of these efforts will benefit the City of Lauderhill’s tourism economy, including its hotels, districts, museums, cultural organizations, restaurants, retail sectors, and events.
Background:
The Visit Lauderhill Advisory Committee is an initiative conceived by the Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lauderhill. The mission of the Visit Lauderhill Advisory Committee is to promote the City of Lauderhill as a premier destination for the arts, culture, sports, leisure activities, culinary experiences and shopping.
Scope of Work:
Plan, develop, cross promote, execute and track results for VISIT LAUDERHILL, its brand and advertising program. Consultant shall engage applicable tourism industry representatives.
- Marketing and Advertising Planning: Develop recommendations for a Marketing and Advertising Plan that supports the strategies set forth by VLAC and the City. Includes strategic direction, creative strategy, brand development and stewardship, media plan and cooperative plan. The aforementioned shall include management and maintenance of the VISIT LAUDERHILL website and social media platforms. Furthermore, the successful proposer shall provide for continuous updates and upgrades that reinforce modernized and progressive branding.
- Media Buy: Buy and execute the media plan presented in the Marketing and Advertising Plan endorsed by the applicable tourism agency and endorsed by VLAC and City. Execution includes placement, optimization, cancellations and auditing. The City Manager in accordance with city policy. Change/insertion orders must comply with the City of Lauderhill’s Purchasing Policy and Procedures and shall not exceed the approved contract amount authorized by the City Manager.
- Concept Development/Production: Develop the creative materials and campaign elements (print, online, etc.) as described in the Marketing and Advertising Plan. Once verified, produce and bring to final form the approved advertising materials to run on behalf VLAC and the City.
- Outreach: Represent and attend agreed upon events on behalf of VLAC, including but not limited to tradeshows, meetings, workshops, and conventions.
