Scope: This project will be broken into phases, with the first being to establish the overall visual look for our brand and the second consisting of design and distribution of undergraduate admissions pieces utilizing the visual identity established in phase 1.

Phase 1: Branding Visual Identity – Creative & Templates

This phase involves utilizing prior research and branding specifications to develop a visual identity system for the university. Phase 1 includes creative design elements and templates. Proposals received from bidding entities should describe their approach to developing creative output and samples of work. Design templates should include:

* Tri-fold brochure template (16×9 for all brochures unless otherwise specified)

* Web ads (as JPEG files)

Phase 2: Production and Distribution of Creative Materials

Utilizing approved design specifications for publications from phase 1, and working in collaboration with Georgia College to provide additional content for each piece, the vendor should produce and distribute the following pieces:

Will need by August 1, 2025:

* Roadpiece, 8 Panel Gate Fold, Full Color (34×11 folded to 8.5×11) 25,000 copies
* Mascot head cutout, 7×9, Full Color 10,000 copies
* Front/back, mascot Bobcat head on front & fast facts on back (accolades, upcoming on-campus visit opportunities, application deadlines)
* Paper Pennants, 17×11 folds to 8.5×11, Full Color 10,000 copies
* Front/back, looks like regular pennant when open from the back, contains application steps and a photo on the front
* Stickers, 3×3, Full Color, 10,000 copies
* Creative suggestions welcome

Will need by September 1, 2025:

* Viewbook, 36-page Brochure (32 pg + 4 pg cover), Full Color Cover: 100lb Gloss Cover (12×9)

Other relevant information:

* The top goal of this project is to create visual aids to assist in representing GCSU and recruiting academically qualified students to the university. We are looking for creative ways to communicate the GCSu identity.
* The intended audience is prospective students and their families, primarily high school juniors and seniors.
* The items listed above and in the cost sheet were identified based on historical needs of the university.
* Partner will submit design proposals for approval or adjustments from the internal team. Partner will handle design of all phases.
* Photography and video elements will be provided as well as visual identify information such as branding colors and logo.
* Examples of current messaging will be provided to the selected partner. Partner would not be expected to conduct additional messaging research.
* On competitors & aspirational universities: University of Georgia is a strong competitor. Kennesaw State University, Georgia Southern University, Georgia State University, Mercer, and Berry are also competitors. Elon University, College of Charleston, and The College of New Jersey are all aspirational universities.
* The evaluation team is composed of staff members from Enrollment Management, University Communications, and Undergraduate Admissions.
* The sizes provided are what have been done in the past, but we are interested in the creativity that vendors can bring to the table regarding sizing.
* Vendors should include estimated costs for copy in addition to the design for the specified publications and other deliverables.
* Translation cost should be included in proposal for the Spanish roadpiece.
* Proposals should include the cost of delivering materials to the GCSU campus with the exception of the two listed variable data postcards. Mailing services costs should be included for the two postcards.
