Salt Lake County, on behalf of Clark Planetarium, “County” is soliciting proposals from qualified firms “Proposer / Contractor” to increase brand awareness and visitation to Clark Planetarium through advanced digital marketing strategies and to work with other existing advertisers and initiatives efforts to generate online participation and evaluate effectiveness. Clark Planetarium seeks a contract with an established digital marketing firm to provide strategic support, collaboration, and measurement of digital marketing and social media content.
A Division of Salt Lake County, Clark Planetarium is Utah’s premier astronomy learning museum located in downtown Salt Lake City at the Gateway Center. The Planetarium’s mission is to create and present enlightening experiences that inspire wonder in learning about space and science. The Clark Planetarium seeks to contract with a marketing firm that specializes in digital marketing and measurement to support the increased demand for online communication and engagement. The firm will provide online communication and content management services on multiple digital platforms and will have expertise in Search Engine Optimization
Scope of Work:
Clark Planetarium seeks a contract with an established digital marketing firm to provide strategic support, collaboration, and measurement of digital marketing and social media content. The purpose of this project is to increase brand awareness and visitation to Clark Planetarium through advanced digital marketing strategies.
Deliverables will include, at a minimum, targeted digital displays across multiple channels and monthly minimum impressions of 375,000, paid social media posts with minimum engagement of 250 clicks per month, and Over the Top (OTT) with a minimum of 10,000 views per month. Minimum reach should increase according to scale during the month of September based on slightly increased funding. The proposal must also include geo-targeting and the ability to reach highly targeted audiences. Proposals that provide innovation in approach, deliverables, and evaluation are encouraged. The Planetarium will provide updated creative for digital displays each month and detailed parameters for targeted audience and geo-targeting areas.
2.3 Length of Agreement The contract resulting from this solicitation will become effective on the date of execution by the county for a 3-year period. There is no guarantee that contract(s) will be awarded from this solicitation.
