Scope: General Objectives. To successfully perform the services described in Section III above, the selected contractor(s) will develop strategic communications and marketing materials around the Authority’s mission by meeting the following general objectives:
1. Provide full-service marketing capabilities.
2. Provide full-service public and media relations capabilities.
3. Provide advertising, marketing and public relations services (experience required, including but not limited to print- and web-based services).
4. Offer in-house (preferred) broadcast production abilities (e.g., radio, video).
5. Demonstrate ability to consult/implement communications/marketing strategies to customer expectations.
6. Provide in-house design, print and web-writing skills consistent with current editorial and brand standards.
7. Produce itemized monthly invoices including an executive summary reflecting work completed within the scope of work.
8. Adhere to Authority work order process prior to beginning work.
9. Demonstrate ability to maintain capacity while handling numerous simultaneous projects.
10. Conduct research, present data, metrics and sources, and recommend directions.
11. Offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
12. Demonstrate experience reaching diverse audiences, including use of inclusionary practices supported by the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title II).
13. Possess demonstrable statewide/regional media buying and placement experience.
14. Possess social media and digital marketing expertise and capability.
15. Design and produce marketing materials.
16. Understand and adhere to Authority brand standards.
17. Use Michigan-based subcontractors, if services are not rendered in-house.
18. Comply with Authority finance standards applicable to third-party vendors and events.
19. Comply with Authority, state and federal rules and regulations.
