About Cedar Rapids Medical Self-Supporting Municipal Improvement District
The Cedar Rapids, Iowa Medical Self‐Supporting Municipal Improvement District is seeking proposals for a digital media agency for the revision and enhancement of the District’s existing MedQuarter Regional Medical District (MedQuarter) website, www.TheMedQuarter.com, to create an updated, user‐friendly, interactive and information‐rich source for public information using responsive design architecture while also integrating Search Engine Optimization elements to expand the website’s functionality from ‘brochureware’ to a site which will expand the MedQuarter’s digital presence.
The agency chosen shall provide a redesigned website meeting the following criteria:
- Has an attractive, professional look and feel
- Is informational and accessible
- Provides for consistent, intuitive navigation so that information can be found easily
- Can be easily updated, maintained and administered
- Is quick to load on the visitor’s browser with high speed broadband connections for pc and mobile users
- Integrates a comprehensive Search Engine Optimization strategy
Goal & Objective
The Medical SSMID desires a redesigned website incorporating the best practices of successful, interactive commercial and municipal websites with a focus on the end‐user experience to create the best possible source of information for the primary audience which includes residents, businesses and visitors/patients. The website shall create a strong organic digital presence that will increase branding and awareness of the MedQuarter digitally, increase engagement and enhance digital value for all MedQuarter stakeholders.
The successful respondent will have expertise in developing websites with high functionality and shall submit a proposal that includes the work plan for accomplishing the project, timeline, all‐inclusive firm‐fixed fee to complete the project and references and samples of previous comparable projects.
