New Mexico Digital Tourism RFP & Non-Profit Work Too…

New Mexico PublicRelations

The New Mexico Tourism Department (www.newmexico.org) and the Department owned, but independently funded New Mexico Magazine (www.nmmagazine.com) are seeking a website redesign – to promote and grow domestic tourism to the State of New Mexico. The goal is to create visually impactful and informative websites, which are simple for travelers and readers to navigate, interact with, and search.

Four years ago, the New Mexico Tourism Department (NMTD) developed a branding strategy to revitalize domestic tourism, a lead driver of the state’s economy.  Since the launch of the Brand in April of 2011, New Mexico has achieved record-breaking visitation levels – driving more visitors, who are spending more dollars than ever before. A Return on Investment study conducted by Longwoods International indicated a 7:1 return for New Mexico True advertising, showing that for every one dollar invested in advertising, seven dollars is returned to the New Mexico tax base.

NewMexico Magazine has a total monthly audience reach of more than 460,000 – and the website attracts people to learn more about all things New Mexico. The full RFP can be read here and proposals are due by February 5 to Billie Neese, Procurement Manager, Billie.Neese@state.nm.us

On the non-profit front, 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living is looking for a digital marketing agency to rebuild their website and provide digital counsel.  They also want to rebuild their website at 21acres.org.

The 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living is a nonprofit agricultural and environmental learning center and a living laboratory for green and sustainable building design. Through education and advocacy, 21 Acres seeks to accelerate social change toward more sustainable ways of growing, eating and living that protect the environment while supporting a better quality of life. The Certified Organic farm and campus are located in Sammamish Valley, near Woodinville, in King County, Washington.

Proposals are due by February 7, 2016 and should be submitted to rbcrowder@21acres.org
