Search Engine Marketing RFP Issued
The Ministry of Jobs, Trade and Technology (JTT) intends to pursue a variety of search engine marketing and search engine optimization strategies to support investment attraction and export development for British Columbia’s products and services in international markets. One of JTT’s key marketing assets is the Trade and Invest BC platform (BritishColumbia.ca). The site is published in several languages for localized markets using the Kentico content management system. The Ministry currently uses tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google PageSpeed, SEMrush and Screaming Frog to support its SEO/SEM efforts.
The Ministry wishes to qualify service providers with expertise and demonstrated success in search engine marketing and search engine optimization services (the “Services”) for campaigns targeted towards business and consumer audiences in Canada and one or more of the following international markets: China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia, India, the United States and Europe.
The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to qualify service providers experienced in both Service Areas listed below:
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Scope of Work:
Search Engine Marketing
Provide expert search engine marketing services for a variety of digital campaigns or initiatives targeted towards business or consumer audiences in one or more of the international markets listed in section 1, including:
a) Advisory services in conceptualization of campaigns and adaptation of campaigns for international markets
b) Research and recommendation of search engines
c) Management of advertiser account with search engines
d) Keyword research for target markets in target languages
e) Text and display ad development
f) Landing page design, content development and optimization
g) Monitoring, management and optimization of campaign performance
h) Campaign reporting and analysis
Search Engine Optimization
Provide expert search engine optimization services for a variety of digital campaigns or initiatives targeted towards business or consumer audiences in one or more of the international markets listed in section 1, including:
a) Advisory services in website optimization for organic search across international markets
b) Research and analysis of on-page and off-page performance and opportunities
c) Keyword analysis and recommendations
d) Local, Mobile and Multilingual SEO strategies
e) Competition analysis
f) Copy optimization and content strategies
g) External and internal link building strategies and recommendations
h) SERP tracking, reporting and monitoring
