Scope of Work

The scope of work for a Media Audit Agency may vary depending on the nature and objectives of the Audit.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:

• To do systematic analysis, measurement and evaluation of our media coverage, performance and reputation to increase our share of voice, improve our sentiment score, generate more leads & raise our brand awareness & reflect our key messages and values.

• To measure the impact of a specific Media Campaign, product launch, or event.

• To help us identify our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in relation to our media strategy and objectives.

• To assess the quality and sentiment of our media coverage and identify any gaps or risks and to help us to focus on the most relevant and useful data.

• To analyse whether platforms are correctly targeted so that there may be full engagement and whether there is any wastage of spends on the advertising.

• To assess how well past coverage communicated our organization’s intended key messages.

• To benchmark and compare our media presence against our competitors or industry standards to understand our strategic positioning in relation to others.

• To assess strategic positioning of our Bank regarding the media impact in relation to other peers.

• To analyze how SBI is perceived/ where it stands in relation to peer Banks and what opportunities needs to be built that support our goals and objectives.

• To analyze the general trends to inform the strategy to be adopted.

• To analyze the areas where our key messages are strong and resonant.

• Areas where more work needs to be done to build awareness and get our key messages across gaps in coverage that our organization can fill.

• To determine which areas of our communications or overall strategy need to be visited.

• To develop angles for pitching the media and to help determine strategies moving forward, related to communications and overall positioning.

Above list is only indicative. Empaneled agencies must undertake and deliver any other Media Audit related aspect that SBI may brief.
