The Texas Association for the Education of Young Children, a non-profit entity, is the Texas state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children,the nation’s largest organization dedicated to improving the quality of programs for children from birth through third grade. The organization’s mission is to provide opportunities for professional growth and to broaden public awareness of early childhood education issues affecting the lives of children and families.
With almost 2,000 individual members and 16 local affiliate organizations throughout the state, Texas AEYC focuses on supporting all those in the early childhood profession statewide with training‚ legislative advocacy‚ grants, and scholarships. For 50 years, Texas AEYC has been committed to promoting professional development and evidence-based best practices in early childhood education. Texas AEYC houses a number of programs that fall within its mission to provide opportunities for professional growth and to broaden public awareness of early childhood education issues affecting the lives of children and families.
The organization is seeking a new website to be built that is user friendly, simple to use, provides detailed information about services and offerings, and is easy to add or modify content.
The web site design and layout should be aesthetically pleasing, simple for users to navigate, and provide descriptions of Texas AEYC services. The scope of this project includes all design, development, coding, licensing of the new Texas AEYC web site.
