Speyside Opens New Office in the Dominican Republic
Speyside Corporate Relations, a Latin American corporate communications and government relations consultancy, has just opened a new office in the Dominican Republic, capitalizing on its momentum and growth throughout South and Central America. The consultancy had a constant growth since entering Latin America three years ago.
Eve Hayes de Kalaf, who has worked on regional projects in collaboration with the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, will be running this new office.
“Speyside is an incredibly exciting proposition – it provides global standard government, corporate and public affairs consultancy to multinationals in what is a complex, dynamic and increasingly important market. I am delighted to be part of the team,” she explained.
With a management team that has more than 20 years of experience in communications in emerging markets, Speyside has clients in twelve regional markets and four offices in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic, all organically-built, which they take great pride in.
Ian Herbison, Speyside’s Corporate Relations CEO said the new office “comes in response to the increase in demand for a pan-regional network. Since our launch in 2009 we have quickly expanded to cover 12 countries in the Latin American region, with offices in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia –and now the Caribbean. Throughout Latin America, we are promoting an organic growth vision that combines local knowledge with international expertise.”
Emerging markets are one of the main expansion directions for a consultancy. It takes a careful documentation in order to offer tailored and locally adapted services, but the results can be amazing. Nothing compares with that special feeling, for an agency, of knowing it helped a client reach and go beyond its goals, seeing great ideas coming to life through innovative, but culturally appropriate campaigns.
