Osceola County Seeks Social Media Management Firm
Osceola County, Florida (County) is requesting Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications from qualified parties interested in providing Social Media Management Services.
In today’s marketing and communications world, the reality is that people increasingly obtain news and information through social media. The County is seeking support in these efforts through a team that further builds various communication platforms, while continuing to expand the footprint to carry forward key messages and information. The applicant should be experienced in the creation of coordinated and cohesive messaging that is consistent with the County’s adopted plans and strategies. An anticipated benefit is constant, consistent monitoring and messaging on County channels, which will lead to being responsive in order to effectively communicate with the public. At a minimum, an improvement in the timeliness and accuracy of key elements of the websites and social media is desired.
Scope of Work:
Provide Social Media Management services by working with County staff to develop a strategic approach for implementing the County’s social media presence throughout various initiatives. The selected firm will provide co-maintenance support of social media channels, which include but are not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, and Instagram. This collaboration will focus on building strategic communication plans for specific issues, targeted for various audiences, to implement plans, track metrics, and provide analyses. Selected firm will be required to provide content, content calendars, design projects within the County’s selected guidelines. Reviewing the County’s website two times per month for stale or out-of-date content is another requirement. The selected firm will also assist County staff to communicate with elected officials to support various policies or programs that benefit the County’s mission. Goals will also include increasing the consistency of posts and developing a plan that addresses the county’s needs to communicate its goals and vision to the public.
