City of Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Issues Digital Media RFP

The City of Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department are requesting Digital Advertisements quotes from print, radio, and television stations in the Lincoln, NE listening area for bike helmet safety.

Background:

Lincoln is the capital city of Nebraska. The Nebraska State Capitol has a domed tower with observation decks. Built-in 1930, the Sunken Gardens features themed gardens, sculptures, and lily ponds. Up-close animal encounters and a zoo train are among the draws of the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. Sheldon Museum of Art, on the University of Nebraska campus, has a notable collection of American art and a sculpture garden.

Scope of Work:

The Owners will provide a 30 second safe-kids video advertisement which is production-ready along with a URL to direct viewer for more information.

                2.1.1 The ad shall be directed to families with a primary listenership of adults 21+ and targeting families with children 2-18 years of age.

                2.1.2 60% of the ads shall run Monday thru Friday 6:00am – 8:00pm.

                2.1.3 40% of the ads shall run Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm – 12:00am.

                2.2 Advertising shall run for a two to three-month period September through November.

                2.3 Only vendors located in Lincoln, NE may submit a proposal for these ads due to the need for them to be specific to Lincoln/Lancaster County residents.

                2.4 The Owners has a budget of $4,700.00 for the advertising campaign.

                2.5 The Owners would also like the digital media campaign to include social media targeting, audience extension, Google ad words, and click through on media.

                2.6 Vendors shall provide a proposal in the supplier’s response attachment section of the bid indicating the number of estimated social media impressions, audience extension campaign impressions, and Google ad words per month and stations running the ad for the budgeted amount.

                2.7 Vendor shall provide an estimated listenership/viewership for each vendor placement within the Lincoln and Lancaster County area.
