University Health’s brand efforts over the past six years have significantly elevated brand image, preference and market share. Our employee and community events have played a large role in this achievement and are an important part of our overall brand strategy. University Health is requesting proposals from individuals and/or companies with extensive knowledge and experience working on internal and external events including set-up, signage, representing the brand to members of the public, as well as setting up, demonstrating, disassembling and maintaining large inflatables. Selected vendor must also have experience with managing supply levels and distribution of promotional incentive items.
Background:
The Bexar County Hospital District d/b/a University Health, herein after ‘University Health,’ is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, and is a nationally-recognized academic medical center owned by the people of Bexar County and by law is a tax-exempt entity. University Health is San Antonio’s only Magnet healthcare organization. Magnet is a designation of the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center and is the “gold standard” of excellence in patient care. Accredited by The Joint Commission, University Health serves as the primary teaching locations for The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is in the top one percent of the country for going “paperless” with electronic medical records. Scope of Work:
We are looking for a very proactive vendor to partner with our Corporate Communications &
Marketing team. The Vendor can expect to assist with up to 50 internal and external events each
year. Additionally, this vendor will help to manage University Health’s promotional incentive
items storage locations, including keeping track of stock levels, pulling items for use and
delivering items to other locations. This vendor will be responsible for University Health’s
large inflatable brain and heart. These expensive items require careful set-up and take down to
ensure they are appropriately preserved and maintained.
