DNA Public Relations has been recently named as the agency of record for Simple Mobile, a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) created by several of the largest wireless companies in the country. DNA will be handling marketing and brand strategies for their newest client, promoting the SIM card that offers low cost, unlimited wireless access. "Simple Mobile is the perfect partner for DNA. Given our experience in successfully positioning challenger brands in highly competitive categories, most notably PEMCO* in the insurance category and BECU (the nation's fourth largest credit union) in the banking category, we're confident we can do the same for Simple Mobile. Simple Mobile's promise to keep things simple means consumers will finally have wireless service the way they want it. We look forward to helping bring to life a brand, products, and services that will truly revolutionize the wireless market," said Chris Witherspoon, DNA PR’s Director of Client Services. With the new Simple Mobile chip, launched in mid-November, 2009, coverage will be available for all major points in the US, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The widespread availability, as well as the low cost, makes Simply Mobile a very attractive package for consumers and it is likely to catch on fairly rapidly. “They are one of those rare brands that truly integrated shops dream about these days. They clearly aren’t looking for a safe, traditional approach and it’s been a huge opportunity for us to break out every tool in the agency toolkit,” adds Tom Gilmartin, Creative Director of DNA PR Firm. DNA Public Relations is based out of Seattle and has a number of high profile clients including Avon, Executive Travel Magazine, and PEMCO Insurance, among others.
