Edelman Hires Lex Suvanto as Managing Financial Director

Edelman public relations has just hired Lex Suvanto as managing director of Edelman Financial, effective  effective today.

Previously the managing director of Abernathy MacGregor, Suvanto is tasked with building Edelman’s so-called special situations capability in New York and other U.S. markets. According to the news from the firm, he is to play a key role in growing financial communications practice for Edelman worldwide. Suvanto will report directly to Russell Dubner, president, Edelman, New York. Richard Edelman, president and CEO, Edelman, offered this comment on the new hiring:
