One of the top 25 PR firms in the United States, French/West/Vaughan (FWV) has just announced having been selected by the A.J. Fletcher Foundation (AJF) as its marketing, strategic communications and public relations partner.
One of North Carolina’s top non-profit organizations, AJF helps solve some of the region’s most pressing social and community problems. With headquarters in Raleigh, the A.J. Fletcher Foundation naturally turned to FWV to help design and execute its first annual report in its 70 years of grant making. Entitled, “A Year in Review: 2012,” the yearly report highlights work done to build stronger communities and move North Carolina forward. FWV Chairman and CEO Rick French offered this on the news:
“We’re proud to bring our team’s rich history of supporting non-profits to our partnership with the A.J. Fletcher Foundation. Last year, AJF issued grants totaling more than $2.3 million. With the addition of an enhanced digital presence, we anticipate it reaching even more families across the state moving forward.”
According to the news from FWV, the firm intends to create a proactive campaign to position AJF as THE supporter in charter areas like education, care for the elderly, and other key sectors of concern of the various communities there. Damon Circosta, executive director at AJF had this to say on the selection of FWV:
“We are excited to partner with French/West/Vaughan as they help us lend a stronger voice to the important causes we support across the state. Their expertise is critical as we apply intense focus to our new specific priority initiatives, including early childhood education, public schools in an era of choice, East Durham, and media and journalism innovation.”
FWV has a lasting legacy of having helped North Carolina into the future with their work along with entities like; The Jimmy V Foundation, The Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education, Dix Visionaries, John Avery Boys & Girls Club, United Way of the Greater Triangle, Downtown Raleigh Alliance and North Carolina Action for Children, and many other such organizations.
