Last week Ketchum announce their acquisition of German creative brand PR Brandzeichen. With a focus on lifestyle and social media, the German firm strengthens Ketchum’s already thriving reaches into that niche.
Targeting the EU’s biggest economic power with the new acquisition, Ketchum will wield still more PR muscle inside the most strategic locations. Rob Flaherty, Senior Partner/CEO of Ketchum had this to add via the release:
“As we celebrate our 90th anniversary and reflect on our many milestones, it is exciting to add to our presence in Germany, the first country in which we opened an office outside of the U.S. Our current German operation continues to build on its exceptional 2012 performance, representing some of the largest companies in Germany and working on behalf of some of the largest brands in our network. We’re thrilled to welcome them to the Ketchum network.”
Brandzeichen will continue to be led by CEO Victoria Wagner across their offices in Duesseldorf, Munich and Hamburg. Some key clients in the roster of Brandzeichen are Procter & Gamble and Kellogg’s.
