Global Health Tech Practice Added to Hotwire PR’s Sectors

Hotwire PR has offices in Europe, the U.S., and Australia/Asia and additional affiliates around the world. They separate their business into sectors to provide deep expertise to clients. They just added another sector they can offer to clients – the Health Tech Practice, which will have 10 experts around the world working to provide the best campaigns for customers. Among the 10 specialists, they bring experience working with brands such as Qualcomm, Fitbit, Garmin, Nuance, and Samsung.

Maryland Live! Casino Signs Stanton Communications as AOR for PR

Stanton Communications, based in DC, has just been hired by the casino located in Hanover, Maryland to provide public relations for their entertainment complex and casino. Stanton will provide all media relations and communications to support and elevate the brand. Maryland Live! is adding a new hotel complex that is scheduled to be ready for visitors in 2017. There will be other additions as the casino has earmarked approximately $200 million for expansion. Stanton’s work will also include promotions, openings, community work, and events.

Maryland Live! is one of largest U.S. casinos offering nearly 5,000 slot machines, 200+ live table games, a nightclub with a performance venue, other entertainment options, dining, and high-limit rooms. It is owned and operated by The Cordish Companies, an entertainment group and real estate developer.

FleishmanHillard Plans for $5 Million of Pro Bono Work to celebrate 70th Anniversary

FleishmanHillard is getting ready to celebrate big for their 70th anniversary as an agency. FH already provides approximately $3.5 million in pro bono efforts annually and during their 70th anniversary year will add $2 million more specifically for pro bono work in their local offices promoting social inclusion of excluded and marginalized groups because of economic standing, gender, race or refugee status. The local offices will be given the opportunity to pick their projects.

FH’s president and CEO, John Saunders, said, “We asked our employees how they wanted to celebrate this important anniversary. The overwhelming response from across our global network was that our people wanted to get involved in local projects in their community where they could make a difference.”
