TransMedia Group Representing RS Press for U.S. Efforts
TransMedia Group (TMG), based in Boca Raton, Florida, just became the U.S. AOR for one of Brazil’s top PR firms, RS Press. Even though RS Press is an established PR agency, they don’t have the U.S. contacts they feel are necessary to promote their business. TMG will also be representing some of RS’s clients for U.S. advertising.
Freud Communications and Freud Holdings Leaping Forward
Freud Communications, a U.K.-based PR consultancy firm, has had some really profitable years recently, ending 2014 with a healthy operating margin of 27.6% and improving in 2015 to 30.8%. Matthew Freud is the sole shareholder of the PR firm which in turn is owned by Freud Holdings. Freud recently sold personal assets to the holding company such as a yacht, Kingdom Come, and various artworks.
The good news is, he’s preparing to expand the shareholder list to include directors and select leaders. With the company showing great profits, that must make some people very happy.
Julie Andreeff Jensen Joining Citadel As New PR Chief
Citadel recently announced that Julie Andreeff Jensen will join them early in December. She leaves Brunswick Group, an advisory firm, for Citadel. Brunswick helps Citadel jointly manage $25 billion in investments. Jensen’s new title will be chief corporate affairs and communications officer, taking over from Katie Spring who recently left that position. Citadel has offices in Chicago, New York, Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, Dallas, Toronto, London, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen.
Jensen received her undergraduate degree from American University, as well as her law degree. Over the years, she’s worked on various political campaigns, including the 2008 Obama campaign. At Brunswick, she worked at their Washington DC office.
ENGAGE PR Partners With Ruder Finn
ENGAGE PR, based in the Philippines and a member company of the EON known as The Stakeholder Relations Group, just became partners with Ruder Finn Asia Pacific (RF), making RF their Philippine affiliate. This move expands ENGAGE’s efforts for clients and gives RF another office in the region to call on as needed. ENGAGE specialized in public affairs and government agencies. Both firms will be increasing their work with crisis management and social media.
