There’s no PR in the world more powerful than capital investment. Early stage venture group Startup Labs heads to Manila for some old fashioned Philippines PR outreach. Global investment program Startup Labs announced their intentions to take their innovative brand of early stage funding to the Philippines next month to hear local pitches. Some of the startups venture partners slated to hear pitches in Manila are; IdeaSpace, Siemer & Associates, ICCP Venture Partners and local angels. Promising early stage tech startups will be the focus Startup Labs travels to emerging markets to discover the most promising early stage tech startups. Startup Labs Director, Tugce Ergul, offered this via their press: “I am very excited to be bringing Startup Labs to Philippines. I find Philippines to be a very exciting market with a lot of potential especially once the entire ecosystem and investors are aligned. We will be mixing the local investors’ expertise with a global Silicon Valley and the Philippine context. The ecosystem is very young and there’s a lot of market fragmentation but this only makes things more exciting for us.” Startup Labs will be looking to build strategic bridges between Silicon Valley and Manila as well, at least considering their press dogma. Also according to their news, Startup Labs has plans to visit over 25 cities on four continents for investing in a projected +125 startups worldwide. Entrepreneur David Milberg noted “Start-ups having access to capital is key to success.”
