This year some of the Broadway shows they represent include Blackbird, Bright Star, Eclipsed, School of Rock – The Musical, King Charles III, Shuffle Along, Crucible, and The Humans.

Depp’s Publicist Lights Flame to His Soon to Be Ex

About a year after marrying Amber Heard, the news broke that she and Johnny Depp are getting divorced. The announcement was made just three days after his mother passed and immediately TMZ shared stories how Heard and Depp’s family did not get along, claiming she kept him from time with them, especially his mother.

A day after the breakup was announced, Depp’s publicist, Robin Baum said, “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation, and lies about his personal life. Hopefully, the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”

Baum is a power unto herself in Hollywood with A-list clients such as Chris Hemsworth, James Franco, Daniel Craig, and Russell Crowe. She’s represented Depp for a very long time and is rumored to have at one point been romantically linked with the actor.

Tristan Pineiro returns to Zeno Group

Tristan Pineiro is now the co-head of 3 Monkeys/Zeno Group’s large consumer and brand practice division serving with Anna Speight. He’s been tasked with building their already strong capabilities and client portfolio.

He left Grayling to fill the new position. At Grayling, he was managing director of Consumer Brands in the U.K. While there he created and led campaigns for Diageo brands including Pimm’s, Gordon’s and Bell’s, Nestle, Crest Nicholson, Wilkinson Sword, and Kellogg’s.

3 Monkeys and Zeno joined forces earlier this year and have their headquarters in London, though Zeno Group is a DJE (Edelman) company, so they have access to that international network. Some of their clients include TGI Fridays, Red Ant, Microsoft, Castrol, and Novartis.

At Age 70, Lanny Davis Opens New Law Firm

Lanny Davis isn’t ready to retire, even though he’s 70 years old. Instead, he’s opening a new law firm. Davis, a friend of Hillary Clinton and well-known DC attorney, has experience in politics and PR as well as the law. The new firm is a partnership with two of his former workmates from Patton Boggs and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. Davis worked nearly 35 years between his time with the two firms.

The new firm, Davis Goldberg & Galper offers Davis the chance to share the work and free up some of his time. But along with the new law firm, he’s also partnering with a former Levick PR exec to form Trident DMB – a PR firm.

Though it sounds like he’s had a good experience with Levick PR, the transition is likely to take a significant amount of business from Levick’s PR efforts.
