Vice Burger voted best burger at South Florida Food and Wine Burger Bash

At the South Florida Food and Wine Burger Bash on Friday February 25th, Judges Dwyane Wade, Reverend Run DMC, Chef Ahmad Alzahabi, The Points Guy, and Al Roker from NBC, voted Vice Burger as the #1 Burger. Vice Burger uses ground fresh daily wagyu beef, authentic Parisian brioche bun, and most importantly applies a proprietary cooking method which uses both industrial grade steam as well as intense heat for caramelization, creating a piping hot, juicy, and melty delicious cheeseburger.

Vice Burger has amassed a cult following in Miami as the city’s best burger and now as the winner of Burger Bash will expand its presence across South Florida. Currently operating at 1040 N Miami Ave. Thursday – Saturday Nights and soon to be opening its second location this spring at the Lincoln Eatery located at 723 Lincoln Lane in Miami Beach which will be operating 7 days per week.

With a vision to elevate the classic American burger, founder Greg Schesser says “Since my childhood I have always wanted to perfect the iconic American staple, the burger. Having worked in fine dining at The French Laundry and coaching in the Bocuse d’Or, which is akin to the world food Olympics for fine dining, I have learned how to perfect and invent new methods of cooking to seemingly simple food dishes. With this experience I have applied my culinary expertise to create a perfect, but simple, burger to share with the world. It is especially validating to win the Burger Bash as it establishes Vice Burger as the best.”

The founder of South Florida Food and Wine Lee Schrager says, “Sometimes we forget that a burger is a food item that cuts across and is enjoyed by every culture. When we have a chance to highlight great talent and elevate exposure for someone that’s doing something really unique, it’s very exciting to me. That’s what this Festival is all about.”

Come meet Greg and the Vice Burger team at one of its locations to try Miami’s homegrown best burger. One bite is enough for it to become your new favorite VICE.
