Slotnick, Partner at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney – the defense attorney who represented Joseph Colombo, Mario Biaggi, Rabbi Meir Kahane, Anthony Quinn, and the Subway Vigilante Bernhard Goetz, is to speak on many issues on Wednesday, August 7 at 8:00 AM at 5WPR’s offices in New York City.

Barry Slotnick is one of America’s most celebrated defense attorneys. He is a shareholder at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC and Chairman of the Firm’s New York Litigation Group. As one of his landmark cases, Barry successfully defended the 1984 “Subway Vigilante” Bernhard Goetz, a case that had many similarities to the George Zimmerman’s murder trial.

Barry will discuss his views on the Zimmerman defense, the prosecution’s position, the emotional tenor stemming from the death of the young Treyvon Martin and how it may have played into the presentation during the trial.
